I have had a Facebook profile for years, honestly it’s all personal stuff on my Facebook account. I am however the administrator for GMIT Libraries Facebook page, which I post to on a regular basis. We have been seeing a steady drop in how many views our page is getting and engagement is definitely down! Twitter reflects my professional profile, well mostly! I love Twitter... I love the limited characters, I love the gifs, I love the ease to which you can follow like minded people and keep up to date with our profession. I also manage GMIT Libraries Twitter account which I use:

Thanks for your thoughts on these, are you folks contemplating dropping FB in favor of trying out a newer social network at all at all?

Although the reach and engagement has fallen, it's still has a better reach for students then Twitter or Instagram.... Also, I really can't face the thought of SnapChat (apologies!).
