Rudaí 23, or 23 things has been on my radar for some time. If I'm honest prior to attending #winterwest17 I felt somewhat Rudaí 23'd out even though I had not participated in the course. I'm not sure as to why I felt this way perhaps it's because I am familiar with some of the course tools or should I say 'things'. I have a blog already but it's safe to say that I am not a blogger! Listening to the enthusiasm of the Rudaí 23 team at #winterwest17 I felt that I owed it to myself to endeavour to become a blogger. Writing is not my forte and thus, I think, I subconsciously developed this negative feeling towards Rudaí 23; after all blogging is key to participation. I am continually exploring online tools and realised from the day that I was familiar with and actively using a number of the online tools already so why not bite the bullet!
Rudaí 23, Tá brón orm, from now on its positive thoughts only, it’s time to build momentum.

Yes, there is such a thing as blog post barriers, for me in any case! I created this blog back in May as part of T&L module that I was participating in. Six months later I am on my sixth blog post – perhaps I have a ‘Six sense’. I don’t know why I have found it so difficult to regularly publish blog posts apart from the obvious… blogging takes time! As well as the fact that I don't always feel like I have got something to write about. That said I always have something to talk about so why don't I transfer my verbal skills to writing skill? You heard it here first ... my new motto is less talking and more writing. Lets see if I can beat my six blog posts in six months over the next six months. |
